around its traditional layout, with steep and narrow streets and steps winding their way up to the early-Gothic Santa Maria church (thirteenth-century) at the top of the village.<\/p>\n<p>The countryside around Pa\u00fcls is rich in ground water with plentiful natural springs: some of the most well-known ones are the sixteen springs at <strong>Font de Sant Roc<\/strong>, and sites such as the <strong>Montsagre<\/strong>, <strong>Ullals<\/strong>, <strong>Gl\u00f2ries<\/strong>, and <strong>Morellar<\/strong> springs among others.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>picnic area at Sant Roc<\/strong> is well worth a visit with its stone seats and tables, one for every family in the town who have exclusive use of them for the celebrations of Saint Roch\u2019s feast day on 16<sup>th<\/sup> August. A beautiful woodland area with sixteen natural springs, and an <strong>eighteenth-century chapel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/parcsnaturals.gencat.cat\/es\/xarxa-de-parcs\/ports\/gaudeix-del-parc\/equipaments-i-itineraris\/equipaments\/punts-informacio-parc\/\" target=\"_blank\"
