Catalu\u00f1a en 2001 crear el <a href=\"http:\/\/parcsnaturals.gencat.cat\/es\/xarxa-de-parcs\/ports\/inici\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parque Natural de <em>Els Ports<\/em><\/a> y la Reserva Natural Parcial de las hayedos, dos de protecci\u00f3n especial que deben garantizar la preservaci\u00f3n de los valores naturales y velar por el aprovechamiento sostenible de los recursos.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, forman parte del paisaje sutiles pinceladas de historia como las mas\u00edas, los hornos de cal, los pozos de nieve, las carboneras, los m\u00e1rgenes de piedra seca y los caminos empedrados. A pesar de la intensa humanizaci\u00f3n, este territorio, tan explorado y explotado hist\u00f3ricamente, se presenta hoy como un espacio natural salvaje y lleno de vida salvaje. El territorio de Els Ports se reparte por nueve municipios de las comarcas del Baix Ebre, (<a href=\"http:\/\/www2.tortosa.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tortosa<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/roquetes.cat\/ajuntament\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roquetes<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alfaracarles.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alfara de Carles<\/a> y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pauls.oasi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pa\u00fcls<\/a>), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montsia.cat\/turisme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Montsi\u00e0<\/a> y la <a href=\"http:\/\/terra-alta.org\/?lang=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terra Alta<\/a>. Desde el punto de vista faun\u00edstico, uno de los elementos m\u00e1s distintivos del Parque es la poblaci\u00f3n de cabra Hisp\u00e1nica (Capra pyrenaica subsp.
